Chapter 4: Rishi Outpost

(F/N) finished cleaning his standard rifle, he places it in the Twilight, he walks out of it and walks to his Quarters, he takes his helmet off and places it on his desk, he sits on his bed and lays down.

He sighs, 'I'll find you Mother. I will, and I'll kill Count Dooku, him, Ventress, Grievous, every last one of them.'

Then a beeping is heard, he gets up and puts his helmet back on, "Speak."

"Zero, it's me. We need your help." Obi-Wan said.

"With what?"

"Come to the Bridge, we'll discuss this."

(F/N) gets off the bed, he cracks his neck and stretches his back, making a pop. He walks out of his Quarters and Ahsoka is by the door.

"Oh, (F/N), I was just going to say-"

"Obi-Wan and Anakin need me."

"How did you-"

(F/N) points at his wrist-comm, "Oh, so what do you think they want to talk to you about?"

"I have no clue, but I can tell it's not good. Wish me luck." He takes his helmet off and gives her a brief kiss.

"Good luck." She smiles, (F/N) walks off.

The door opens, "Zero." Admiral greets.

"Admiral, Generals, what's the problem?"

"Ah Zero, glad to see you, we want you to join Captain Rex and Commander Cody on the inspection of the bases." Anakin said.

"Okay, then why did General Kenobi sound worried?"

"Oh that was to get you here quickly, besides, they were about to leave but we told them to wait for you, have fun." Kenobi said.

"This is punishment for facing Grievous wasn't it?"

"Yep." They both said.

(F/N) growls, he walks to the doors.

"I'm getting payback for this."

(F/N) goes back to his Quarters and gets his Vibrosword, or blade, he grabs Ventress's Lightsaber and the other two in case one is broken.

He grabs a pistol and his standard DC-15 rifle.

(F/N) walks to the Hanger, and meets Captain Rex and Commander Cody.

"Zero, glad to hear you're coming along with us." Cody said.

"Thank you Commander, Captain, good to see you guys after Christophsis."

"Likewise Zero, where's your sniper? The one that's bolt action." Rex asks.

"It's on Rishi Outpost with a buddy of mine, since we're the inspection team, I know we're going to stop there."

"Well we are going to make sure that the droids don't destroy the Outposts either, ready?" Cody asks.

"Ready, let's go, you two are flying."

"General, our droids have been deployed, they are heading for the Rishi Outpost now." One of the Droids said.

"Good, once our Commando Droids have taken the base, I want them to take control off that Station! If they destroy it then we'll have the entire Republic Fleet on us! But if Zero is there, then our entire Operation will fail."

"Zero sir?"

"He's a very unique Clone, we have to be cautious of him, and he's the only clone to use a lightsaber and a sword."

(F/N) fell asleep, Cody and Rex were heading to another Outpost, then Rishi, but (F/N) wasn't sleeping well....

"GO! I'll hold them off!" (F/N) yells, a much older him.

"(F/N)! I can't lose you! You're the only one I have left!"

"We have to go! COME ON!"

(F/N) looks at her.

"Go with them, we'll be back."

"But-"

"Trust me Ahsoka, please. I'll be back. I always come back."

She sniffs and kisses him, "Please, don't die." She runs to the ship.

The man with the grey helmet cuts the door down, he ignites his two Red Lightsabers. "No where to run Zero, or should I say (F/N)." His voice sounded robotic.

(F/N) ignites his two Lightsaber, one green, one red, "Who says I was running?"

They yell as they charge at each other, they clash and the building they were in was getting more unstable, the reactor explodes, destroying the building.

"(F/N)!" Ahsoka yells.

"Zero, hey Zero, wake-up!" Cody shakes.

(F/N) gasps awake, he looks around panting, he sighs.

"Whoa, you okay?"

"Yeah. Bad dream. Where are we?"

"Close to Rishi Base, one of the Troopers there said that they didn't need Inspection, after that they said Roger, Roger. Rex thinks something's not right. What do you think?"

(F/N) thinks a bit, it does sound strange.

"Could be those new Commando Droids, they can be very sneaky, they can even act as a Clone, but they still say Roger Roger in the end of a order."

"Well, let's hope that's not the case."

"We're landing on The Platform!" Rex calls down.

The Shuttle lands, Rex's seat comes down and he puts his helmet on, he grabs his DC-15, Cody grabs his, (F/N) already had his.

"Alright, let's go and get this over with."

The shuttle door opens, the ramp goes down, The Three walk down the ramp, (F/N) had the DC-15 in his right hand, he had one hand on it and he held it by his leg. He looks around, nothing, no Officer on deck.

"This isn't good." (F/N) said.

"I agree, I don't see the deck officer anywhere." Cody said.

"These boys are sloppy. There should always be an officer on deck." Rex said.

The door in front of them opens and a Clone walks out, "I have a bad feeling about this." Said Cody.

"Welcome to Rishi, Commander." The Clone said.

(F/N) felt like they were being watched, he looks around, he gives a look behind him to his left, he saw a glowing eye of a droid, his suspicion was right.

"As you can see, the outpost is operating at peak efficiency. Thank you for visiting, and have a safe trip back." The Clone was making odd gestures.

The three look at each other.

"We need to inspect the base just the same." Cody said.

"Uh, there is no need. Everything is fine and fully operational." The Clone makes more weird gestures.

(F/N) walks up to the Clone, The Commando Droid disguised as the Clone scans him, and it was terrified, Commando Droids usually don't feel fear, but Zero, or (F/N), gave them something to Fear.

"Take us to the sergeant in command." He growls.

"Roger Roger." The Commando Droid said.

Rex and Cody look at each other in surprise, (F/N) drops the DC-15.

A flare pops up in the air.

They all look at it.

"A droid attack flare?" Cody asks.

(F/N) takes the Green Lightsaber(Think of it as Luke's Lightsaber), and ignites it, he then swiftly decapitates the Clone.

"Whoa! Zero! What the heck do you think you're doing?"

"Relax." Rex said as he picks the helmet up and the Commando Droid head falls to the ground.

"Just as I thought." (F/N) said, putting his Lightsaber back.

"Looks like one of those new commando droids." Rex concludes.

"That flare must have come from the survivors." Cody points out.

Then blasters starts firing, (F/N) picks the DC-15 up and fires back along with Rex and Cody.

"Ambush!" (F/N) yells.

Commando Droids start appearing from the front, they must've been hiding there, Cody shoots one in the chest and it bends over backwards, it then comes back up and continues to shoot.

"Aah! Those clankers have tough armor." Cody said.

"Aim for the head!" (F/N) said.

Rex shoots one twice in the chest, once in the head.

"We're cut off!"

Three were behind them, (F/N) threw his gun to Rex, he dual-wields the Blasters. (F/N) pulls out the Blue Lightsaber(Think of Plo-Koon's Lightsaber) and the Green Lightsaber.

He deflects the lasers from the three.

"Where did you get those Lightsabers and how are you good with them?!" Cody yells.

"I got these(Deflects blaster shot), from a certain(Ducks shot), General Grievous!"

"Then what's with the third one by your pistol?!" Rex asks.

"That belongs to Ventress!" (F/N) deflects a shot into a Commando's head.

Two Commandos came out with grenades, they throw them, "Off the platform!" Rex yells.

(F/N) runs to them and puts his Lightsabers away, "Copy that!" Cody yells.

"Zero come on!"

KABOOM

The shuttle explodes, the smoke settles, the Commando Droids look around.

The Captain scans the area, no sign of them.

"No sign of them. They must have been pulverized. Resume defensive posts."

But they didn't know that Cody and Rex shot their attestation cables and were underneath the platform, (F/N) holding on to Rex's foot.

They lower down, an Eel hisses, they step down, Rex giving (F/N) his gun back.

"Well, that sure complicates things, Commander. No worse than that time on Tibrin." Rex said.

(F/N) looks at the destroyed shuttle, he sees something in the smoke.

"We had Jedi with us on Tibrin. They helped." Cody said.

(F/N) holds a hand out, he sees Three Clones exit the smoke.

Cody and Rex aim their rifles, "Hands above your heads. Take your sun bonnets off." Rex orders.

They put their hands and arms up high.

"Uh, sir?" Echo asks.

"Take 'em off!" Rex orders.

They look at each other, (F/N) takes Ventress's Lightsaber out and ignites it, they flinch and jump in surprise.

"Now!" (F/N) shouts.

They take them off, left to right, Fives, Echo, and Hevy.

(F/N) sighs, Cody and Rex lower their weapons, but an Eel emerges out and growls, it roars at them.

Rex's quick draw kills it by shooting it in the eye, it falls to the ground, he walks to it and takes his helmet off, examining it.

"Nice shot." Hevy said.

"The name's Rex. But you'll call me "Captain" or "sir." He said as he puts his hand on the blue bleeding eye, he looks at his hand.

"Sir, yes, sir!" The Three said.

"I'm Commander Cody, your new boss." Cody said as he took his helmet off.

"I'm Zero, no introduction."

"My designation is trooper 27-5555, sir." Fives said.

"We call him Fives. I'm Hevy. This is Echo."

"Good to meet you Hevy, nice to see you two again, Fives and Echo."

"Zero, thought you were about to chop our heads off." Echo said.

"Well I would've if you were Commando Droids."

"Where's your sergeant?" Cody asks.

"Dead, sir. We're all that's left." Echo said.

"Looks like we got ourselves a batch of shinies, Commander." Rex walks up.

"Shinies, sir?" Echo questions.

"That's right. Your armor, it's shiny and new, just like you." He places his left hand on Echo's right side of the armor, leaving a blue hand print.

"Sir, me and my batchers are trained and ready. We'll take back our post, shiny or not."

(F/N) smiles, "There's hope for you yet rookie." (F/N) shakes his hand.

"General, we encountered Zero."

"WHAT?! Did you kill him?!"

"We threw thermal detonators at the ship, they were close by it, they might've been pulverized."

"Double check! Make sure you find his body! Find an eel and cut it open if you have too, I want you to confirm and show me the body!"

"Roger Roger."

"Any transmission?" Ahsoka asks.

"No, what's also odd is that Zero isn't responding either." Anakin said.

"The all-clear signal is on, but they can't answer? They could be under attack!" Ahsoka said.

"That could be true, but we don't know that for sure."

"Zero always picks up, the only time he doesn't if he's stealthy or the comms are jammed." Anakin said.

"Something's not right." Obi-Wan muttered.

The Clones and (F/N) climb up the scale rock, "Look sharp, rookies. As long as those tweezers occupy this post, our home planet of Kamino is at risk." He hands Echo his DC-15, (F/N) gives Hevy his also.

"But there's so many of them." Echo said.

"Doesn't matter, kid. We have to retake this base, so we will retake this base." Rex said, giving them hope.

They arm their weapons.

"How do you propose we get through those blast doors, Rex old boy?" Cody asks.

"I have a few ideas."

"What is that?" A Commando Droid asks, looking at the circular monitor by the door as it sees Rex try and walk like a Commando Droid.

Echo and Fives on Rex's left, Cody and Hevy on his left, (F/N) was by the door, pistol out.

"Unit 2-6, is that you?"

"Roger, Roger." Rex says.

"You sound strange. Is something  wrong with your vocabulator?"

Rex puts two finger by his throat, "Roger, Roger."

"Take of your helmet. Let me see your faceplate."

"Roger, Roger." Rex said annoyed, he crouches down and puts both hands on his helmet, he ducks down and shows a Commando Droid head, Cody puts his hand on his helmet.

"This is never gonna work." Cody mumbles.

But the Droid opens the blast shield door, Rex and (F/N) aiming their pistols in the Droids' face.

"Clones!" It yells.

"Roger. Roger." They both said.

They fired at the Droid and the others shot at the remaining two.

"Right, let's move!" (F/N) said.

They run to the stairs, they stop.

"Permission to take point sir?" Hevy asks.

"I'm always first, kid." Rex said.

Rex runs up, he shoots a Commando Droid in the head, surprising the rest, he shoots another one. They fire back, Rex shoots a third one.

(F/N) rushes with his sword, the others fire at them, one hits Fives in the shoulder.

"Fives!" Echo yells.

"Guys, he's okay. Focus on the battle." Cody said.

The Captain Commando Droid with the Vibrosword aims at Rex, (F/N) kicks the Blaster out of its hand and kicks it back.

The Droid draws its sword out and leaps at (F/N), he blocks the attack and pushes it back, (F/N) on the offense, they clashed blades, (F/N) started to use one hand, they then go up the stairs and continued to sword fight while the others started shooting at the remaining Droids.

(F/N) then kicked its kneecap, it broke, as the Droid brought the blade up to block the blow, the blade broke through and sliced the Droids' head in two. It falls off and down into the ground.

They finished junking the rest, Cody told them to look out the window, a Separatist Reinforcement ship was landing.

They hot-wired the controls, they couldn't defend the base for long, so Rex said they can destroy the base, (F/N) then asked Echo if they had any LT, Liquid Tibanna.

"We do! We can use this to heat the base!"

"Liquid Tibanna, highly explosive."

They started to set up, (F/N) enters the armory and grabs his Cycle Sniper, "Thanks for watching this Echo."

"Not a problem."

"So, my guess is that Droidbait...."

"Yeah, the droids got him, Cutup was devoured by an eel."

"Nasty way to go. Well one of them, time to avenge our fallen brothers, shall we?"

They finished setting up, then the Droids got to the door.

"Reinforcements reporting! Open up!" The blast shield door opens, revealing Hevy.

Hevy answered, "You didn't say please." He mows them down.

"CLONES! Get 'em!"

Cody and Five assists, Fives throws grenades at them, but more keep coming.

"Could use a Jedi about now!"

"Zero!"

(F/N) grabs his Green and Red sabers, he runs out deflecting shots while they ran back.

"Oh no! That's Zero! Blast him!"

"Oh like I never heard that before!" (F/N) yells.

He keeps deflecting, Cody presses the button and the blast shield door closes.

They run back to the stairs, (F/N) goes to the ceiling and waits there, like a spider.

An explosion is heard and the blast shield doors open.

The Droids enter, shooting at the Clones.

"Fall back to the OP Center! Move!" Cody orders.

(F/N) drops down and ignites both sabers and slices and dices the droids, he runs back deflecting and dodging lasers.

"What's the status on the explosives?"

"The Detonator won't link up." Rex said.

"Are you kidding me?"

"No, Hevy, this detonator isn't working."

"I'll take care of it. It'll be fixed in no time. You guys get out of here."

"I'll stay, I'll keep them off your back in the meantime." (F/N) said.

"You sure?"

"Why not?"

"Alright, you two hurry, those droids are getting close." They go through the vent.

(F/N) aims down the stairs, he sees a Droid come up and snipes it.

"It's the Jedi Clone!" A Droid yells.

Hevy looks up, "Did that Clanker call you a-"

"Just because I'm good with Lightsabers doesn't make me a Jedi!" (F/N) says in his defense.

He keeps firing, Hevy still won't figure out why it won't link up.

"I have to do it manually!"

(F/N) looks back, "What?! No, I got this, there is another way."

"The only way is to detonate it manually! You'll die!"

"It'll take a lot more than this to kill me. Go!"

Hevy nods, "Alright, be care-Aah!" He gets shot in the shoulder.

(F/N) turns around and blasts the droid.

"GO!"

Hevy leaves through the vent, leaving the big gun.

(F/N) puts his sniper on his back, he grabs it and blasts the droids as they go up the stairs, he starts to go up the stairs also by the windows, the gun runs out of ammo, he throws the gun at the next set of droids.

"Blast that Jedi Clone!"

(F/N) pulls his Lightsabers out, "Sorry Zero, I might not keep that Promise."

"Hevy, hit the- Where's Hevy?" Rex asks, then on cue, Hevy drops down and runs to them, holding his shoulder.

"Hevy, are you okay?" Echo asks.

"I'm fine, Clanker got me good, Zero is still up there!"

"Zero! Zero! Come-"

KABOOM

They put their backs to the wall as the fallen debris falls down.

"Zero. Zero, respond." Rex said.

"Coming in hot!" He yells from above, he impales the wall with the sabers and slides down, he drops down in front of them.

"Zero!" They cheer.

"I'm alive yes."

"But, how did you survive that?"

"Well....."

(F/N) runs to the other side of the windows, he slashes a window open, still deflecting shots.

He deflects one that it nicks the gas containing the LT.

"Oh, screw this shit!" He jumps out as a Droid accidentally ignites it.

"I'll tell you later."

Gunships arrive and The Separatists flee from space, The Republic Fleet appears, they are taking back to the Main Cruiser.

Fives, Echo and Hevy were later awarded Medals, (F/N) was proud to see this, but he went to his Quarters and relaxed, he placed his sniper and his sword in the locker in his Quarters, and the Lightsabers in a safe he had from home. How he got it? Chopper went to Tatooine again.

Then a knocking is heard on his door, he groans as he gets up, helmet on, he opens the door and Ahsoka hugs him.

"Luckily no one is able to see this."

"I got worried."

"I know."

"You could've been killed."

"I know."

Ahsoka still hugs him, "A Droid called me a Jedi Clone."

She giggles, "A Jedi Clone? Well I did see your fight with Grievous you showed from your helmet. Thanks to R2."

"Yeah, now, I want to rest."

"Alright, well, sleep tight."

(F/N) took his helmet off and grabbed her wrist, he spun her around and kissed her, she has a leg bent up and her arms around his neck.

"I will." He said as he parted.

She kissed his cheek and smiled as she walks away.

He smiles and enters his Quarters, sleeping.

No Nightmares.

"You lost R2?!" (F/N) exclaims.

"That's not the worst part, is memory isn't erased." Anakin said.

"Meet R3-S6, I call him Goldie!"

"Goldie?"

"You still can't replace R2." Anakin said.

"You get to carry him Rex!" Ahsoka said.

Rex looks at R3, "Zero, you're going to carry this Astromech." Rex said.

(F/N) growls.

Denal snickers.

"Hey, I think there's a Vulture down there!" (F/N) yells standing at the edge of the Twilight.

Anakin walks over.

"I don't see it!"

The others walk over, Rex next to Skywalker, close too.

"Hey, remember what I said back on Christophsis?"

"Yeah! Wait...You better not-" Anakin didn't finish.

(F/N) hits Goldie into the Skywalker, knocking him off, he kicks Rex off also.

(F/N) wonders around the station, he hits a wall and finds a hidden locker, he opens it.

"Well Hello, what kind of Lightsaber is this?"

Chapter 5: Searching and Rescuing R2-D2
